Sundays at Northridge
We welcome people from all walks of life and to our Sunday services. We are a community of people journeying towards God and seeking to fulfil His purposes in our lives, both individually and collectively. We seek to bless what God is doing in our children, youth and adults alike.
- 9:30am – has a relaxed family feel, with creche and dedicated children’s & youth programs
- 5pm – has a more contemporary feel, and geared more for younger adults
Our Sunday services involve a time of worship where we encourage people to engage as honestly and passionately with God as they are able. In our morning service, the children and youth leave the auditorium during worship and go to their groups. In each service an inspiring message from God’s word is given and there is time set aside to receive prayer ministry.
Our services are followed by either morning tea or supper. This is the time to meet new friends, catch up and share stories together.
At Northridge we see worship as a central value to our expression as a church. As we worship together we are reminded of the majesty and the glory of God and His eternal love poured out for us in Jesus. We find that through music and song we open our hearts to receive from God and become more sensitive to His Spirit’s leading, drawing us into a deeper relationship with Jesus.
As a church, we believe prayer is foundational, both on a corporate and a personal level – the more of it that happens, the better! There are opportunities for personal prayer ministry during the Sunday services or, if a more private setting is required, we can help you arrange that at an appropriate time, with trained ministry team members.
Kids are an integral part of Sunday mornings at Northridge, with dedicated programs:
- Creche: for children aged 1 – 3
- Gap: preschoolers aged 3 – 5
- Kids Bizz: kindergarten to year 2
- SLAM: years 3 – 5
Our heart is to make each child feel loved and truly valued here, regardless of age, ability or background. We pray parents will feel inspired as they watch Christ actively working in the lives of their children.
