Meeting again

While we don’t think anyone is going to be sad to see the other side of the stay-at-home order, we’re aware that the upcoming change is going to elicit a range of responses for us. For some, it’ll be a case of ‘open up the doors and let the music play’. Others of us have become used to nights in, takeaway, and Netflix… In all seriousness, it’s important to acknowledge that the journey we have ahead is as much of a transition as it was going into lockdown.

We’ve come to believe the healthiest way to go is a staged approach, which we’ve outlined below. Think of it a bit like a deep sea diver de-pressurising—slow and steady is the way to do it. We also hope that taking this approach for our whole community will help some of us acknowledge that it’s okay to re-engage slowly. Be kind to yourselves friends, and reach out if you’re struggling.

October — Church with friends 🛋

In the month of October we’ll continue to meet online, but we encourage you to invite friends over! You’ll find us each Sunday at 5:00pm on Youtube—head to https://northridge.org.au/live.

November — Home gatherings are back! 🏡

For the four Sundays in November, we’ll be meeting in homes around the region. If you’d like to join us, get in touch. You can also continue to join our services online via the link above.

December — Back in the building ⛪️

From Sunday December 5, we’ll be meeting back in person!

The best way to keep up to date with our plan to return is via the almost-weekly email—you can sign up to that here.
