How to get connected

Whether you have joined us in the Evening or Morning, the process for getting connected at Northridge is the same.

Our vision is Jesus and His Kingdom.

As a Vineyard church, we see Jesus’ teaching on the Kingdom of God as foundational to our understanding of scripture. When Jesus came to earth he declared God’s beautiful, future, rule was already breaking into this present world. We seek to experience these glimpses of God’s Kingdom wherever we see God at work.

Northridge is an evangelical charismatic church that values both the Word and the Spirit. We are committed to showing and telling people about the good news – just like Jesus did.

Our values.

Encountering God

We expect to experience God as He pours out His Spirit in us and through us, as we gather in worship and live out our daily lives.

Community

We are part of the family of God. Where everyone has a place to love and be loved, to serve and be served.

Discipleship

We are apprentices of Jesus on a lifelong journey, inviting others to life with Him.

Mission

We partner with Christ to heal the world. We join God’s mission of love by sharing the gospel, extending mercy and restoring justice.

Sunday Service FAQs

If you’re after service times, our location, or info on parking, you’ve come to the right place! We have two communities that meet on Sundays in Thornleigh.

How long do services go for? What should I expect?

Each of our services is approx 90 minutes. A service usually involves a time of worship, a message from the bible, and a chance to pray for one another. Everything is by invitation—we won't make you pray, or sing if you don't want to.

Where are you located? Where do I park?

Our meeting space and offices are located at 6 Chilvers Road, Thornleigh (click here for a Google map). If you’re early you can park in our car park (look for the ‘Northridge’ banners on either side of our driveway). If the car park is full, on Sundays there is usually plenty of on-street parking on Chilvers Road too.

Can I bring my kids?

Our Morning Community has a kids programme if you are coming in person.

In our Evening Community all ages are welcome to stay in the hall, but we also have a space where families with younger children can hang and watch the service.

Do you live stream your services?

Our Morning services are streamed on Youtube each week! You can watch them here.

How formal is your church? What should I wear?

We love that you asked—church is pretty casual, so be comfortable! You don't have to wear your Sunday best, we want you to come and feel at home.

Do I have to give money if I come?

At Northridge, we believe that financial giving is family business—if you're new or visiting, you're welcome to be our guest. Of course you are welcome to give too, but our hope is that you won't feel pressured.
