Whether you have joined us in the Evening or Morning, the process for getting connected at Northridge is the same.
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.” Luke 4:18-19
This passage taken from Isaiah 61 is the vision Jesus had in his heart for the Kingdom of God, as he began his ministry. This picture of the Kingdom forms our vision as a church.
We want to see all of God’s Kingdom breaking in and filling every part of our world.
We want to be a church that helps people encounter the Father’s love, embrace their new identity in Jesus, and equip them to walk out their God-given destiny, empowered by the Holy Spirit. We aim to be a church that walks alongside those who carry pain and hurt, restoring their God-given dignity and bringing God’s healing.
We want to be a church family that has a culture of authentic relationships, where we love each other and seek to be reconciled in a healthy way. As a church, we are seeking to increase our reach and impact healthily, developing deep relationships with each other and with other churches. We aim to be a church that reflects the diversity of our local community.
We believe that the message of Jesus and His Kingdom is good news, and we aim to be people who go to those who don’t know Jesus yet, inviting them into a lifelong relationship with him. Our heart’s desire is to be light-bearers, peace-makers, joy-bringers, and city-shapers. We seek to be a church who partners with the Holy Spirit to see the life, beauty, justice and freedom of God’s Kingdom breaking in and filling every part of our world.
If you have joined us on a Sunday we have probably asked you if you’d like to hear from us! The easiest way to do this is to fill out a contact form and give us your details.

If you’re after service times, our location, or info on parking, you’ve come to the right place! We have two communities that meet on Sundays in Thornleigh.
Each of our services is approx 90 minutes. A service usually involves a time of worship, a message from the bible, and a chance to pray for one another. Everything is by invitation—we won't make you pray, or sing if you don't want to.
Our meeting space and offices are located at 6 Chilvers Road, Thornleigh (click here for a Google map). If you’re early you can park in our car park (look for the ‘Northridge’ banners on either side of our driveway). If the car park is full, on Sundays there is usually plenty of on-street parking on Chilvers Road too.
Our Morning Community has a kids programme if you are coming in person.
In our Evening Community all ages are welcome to stay in the hall, but we also have a space where families with younger children can hang and watch the service.
Our Morning services are streamed on Youtube each week! You can watch them here.
We love that you asked—church is pretty casual, so be comfortable! You don't have to wear your Sunday best, we want you to come and feel at home.
At Northridge, we believe that financial giving is family business—if you're new or visiting, you're welcome to be our guest. Of course you are welcome to give too, but our hope is that you won't feel pressured.
