Exodus—You can’t hack it alone
Continuing on our Exodus series, we read a curious story - the Israelites go to war with the Amalekites, and their victory only comes when Moses is able to hold up his staff with the assistance of his friends. Lucy tells us that this passage is a timely reminder that we are never supposed to fight our battles alone. So, how do we become the kind of community that is willing to stand by one another and help fight each other’s battles?
