Gospel of John
In the second ‘I am statement’ in 4 verses (and the complementary statement to last week’s claim), Jesus continues the pastoral theme, this time comparing himself to the shepherd of the field. He actually makes this statement twice, with 2 different focuses. So how do we sum up all this pastoral talk? How do we relate to Jesus differently if he is our Good Shepherd? And how does that cause us to live our lives differently?
