Heirs of the Gospel – Bear, Sow, Do Good
Kym wrapped up our series in Galatians - Heirs of the Gospel, looking at "Bear, Sow, Do Good", from Galatians 6:1-10, 14-15. Paul ends not with doctrine but with practice: bear one another's burdens, restore gently, sow to the Spirit, do good to all people. The final word of the series is not do more but don't give up. The harvest is not immediate — the gap between sowing and reaping is where most people quit. The closing frame is new creation (6:15): every act of burden-bearing and doing good is a sign of the new age breaking into the present one. That is the dignity of ordinary faithfulness.
