Galatians
Bec continued our series in Galatians - Heirs of the Gospel, looking at "This was always the plan". Paul is exasperated: the Galatians received the Spirit by faith and are now trying to complete by effort what began in grace. He goes back to Abraham to show that the inclusion of all people was never plan B — it was the original promise. Galatians 3:28 then lands its full weight: the categories that determined worth and belonging in the ancient world are not modified in Christ, they are superseded. The effort question and the belonging question are the same question.
