Pursuing Jesus and the fullness of His kingdom 1
Bonnie kicked off our new series and sharing on Pursuing Jesus and the fullness of His Kingdom. In Luke 4 Jesus gives us a vibrant picture of what this future age of God’s Kingdom would look like as it broke into the present age. Using the Jubilee language of Isaiah 61, he describes how the Kingdom means good news for the poor, the hurting, the captive, and the spiritually & physically blind. It describes a work of healing and restoration for people and families who are desolate and despairing.
